Gokul’s maiden venture, Rowthiram starring Jiiva and Shriya in the lead. It also earned praise for its cinematography and Stunt Choreography. later the movie was dubbed in Telugu as Roudram and also in Hindi as Nirbhay The Fighter. Gokul’s second movie Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, produced by Leo Visions, featured a huge cast Vijay Sethupathi, Ashwin Kakumanu, Swathi Reddy and Nandita in the lead roles with Pasupathy, MS Baskar, VS Raghavan and Soori in the prominent roles. It also praised for its quirky dialogues and also for its intervening plot line.
