Ashwin Kakumanu is an Indian film actor, who is well known for his role as Ganesh in Venkat Prabhu’s Tamil action thriller movie, Mankatha. Ashwin Kakumanu was initially unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. Then the director Gautham Menon was close to giving him the role. But Ashwin was noticed by the assistant directors of the movie who recommended him for the role of Arjun, the Boyfriend of Sameera Reddy’s character in Nadunisi Naaygal. He is playing a prominent role in Ponniyin Selvan movie.
Ashwin Kakumanu was born on 5 July 1987 in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. After his appearance in Mankatha, He was next seen in 7 am Arivu, directed by A. R. Murugadoss. In this movie, Ashwin appeared as a young scientist, who helps put together a plan alongside the characters played by Shruthi Hassan. Ashwin Kakumanu also appeared in a supporting role in Gautham Menon’s Ekk Deewana Tha movie.
