U. Milind Rau is an Indian film writer and director known for his works in the Kollywood industry. He made his directional debut through 2013 film Kadhal 2 Kalyanam. In 2017, Milind Rau’s multilingual movie Aval/ The House Next Door/ Gruha breaks the box office collection. The movie was released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages respectively. He then helmed a movie name “Netrikann” that features Nayanthara as the lead character.
Milind Rau was born on 1st January 1978 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He worked as an assistant director for legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam. He associated for the movies like Guru, Ayitha Ezhuthu, Yuva, A Peck on the Cheek, and in 2016, he became the executive producer for Jil Jung Juk.
