Thiagarajan Kumararaja is an Indian director and screenplay writer who predominantly works in the Kollywood film industry. He made his directional debut with the gangster film Aaranya Kaandam in 2011. The film receives the critics’ acclaim and earned him the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director at the 59th National Film Awards. He has worked in popular movies like Aneethi Kathaigal, Aaranya Kaandam, Yennai Arindhaal, X: Past Is Present. His work in Amazon Prime’s Modern Love Chennai was critically acclaimed.
