Peer Moideen, better known by his stage name V. Z. Durai is an Indian film director who predominantly works in Tamil film industry. V. Z. Durai Details

V. Z. Durai was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Durai started his career in film industry without no prior experience. He worked as an assistant director with Chakravarthy for few years. He made his directional debut with the musical drama film Mugavaree. Prior to the release of the film, Kollwood star Ajith who has happy with the final product, gifted a car to the director. He then directed some notable Tamil films such as Vikram starrer Kadha Sadugudu, the gangster thriller Thotti Jaya, the crime thriller 6 Melugu Vathigal and the romantic thriller Yemaali (2018).
