Vanitha Vijayakumar is a popular actress who mostly works in the Tamil film and television industry. She made her first-ever appearance in the Tamil film Chandralekha (1995) which is directed by Nambirajan. She also appeared in the Malayalam film Hitler Brothers (1997). Vanitha is a daughter of veteran actors Vijaya Kumar and Manjula. Her siblings are Arun Vijay, Sreedevi Vijayakumar, and Preetha Vijayakumar. She is one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3, a popular reality show aired on Star Vijay TV. She also participated in Bigg Boss Tamil Ott show titled Bigg Boss Ultimate. It streams online on Disney+ Hotstar.

In an interview, Vanitha said Vijayakumar frequently tortured her mother Manjula and in some time her mother stayed in actor Rajinikanth’s house when she untolerates Vijayakumar torture. She also claims her mother was died shortly due to Vijaykumar’s torture.
Anandraj is a second husband of Vanitha. He complained against Vanitha by alleging that she kidnaped their daughter Jaynitha. Anandraj demand is to bing back Jainitha to himself.
