Boman Irani is an Indian Film and theatre actor, photographer of Irani descent, and voice artist, who mainly appears in the Bollywood films. Boman Irani is widely known for his comedic and villain roles in Bollywood films such as Don, Munna Bhai MBBS, 3 Idiots, Happy New Year, PK and Diwale. Irani began his career in films in 2000. He gained attention for his role in 2003 comedy Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. Then he appeared in Lage Raho Munna Bhai for which he received several IFFA award nominations and in 3 Idiots Opposite to Aamir Khan, he also earned Filmfare Award and a Star Screen Award for the Best Actor in a Villainous role. Boman Irani Profile And Career
Boman Irani was born on 2 December 1959, in Mumbai, India. He has completed his schooling at St. Mary’s School, Mumbai. While he was at school, he would watch movies on a daily basis. His mother often encouraged him to see the movies repeatedly, to observe the cinematography and art. Irani was dyslexic and had ADHD and had a lisp. He also studied a 2-year waiter course at Mithibai College in Mumbai. After his polytechnic diploma course, he joined the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower and worked there as a waiter and in room service. He then gradually promoted and finally worked as a waiter at the rooftop French restaurant, Rendezvous. He worked at the Taj Mahal for two years.
