Amit Trivedi is an Indian Music Composer, Playback singer, and a lyricist who is working in Bollywood. After working in many theatres and composing for non-fictional films, Amit Trivedi made his debut as a music director through the movie Aamir in the year 2008. He was noted for his work in the movie “Dev.D” in the year 2009 which earned him several awards including a National award for his music. Amit Trivedi Details

Amit Trivedi was born on 8 April 1979 at Bandra, Mumbai in India. His native place is in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He did his graduation at Rizhi College, Mumbai. He was very interested in music and started composing music at the age of 19. He joined a band called Om during his college days. Later he went to compose music in Theatres, Tv shows, Live performances, Orchestra and much more.

His friend and playback singer Shilpa Rao suggested his name to the director Anurag Kashyap. Anurag Kashyap was looking for a new music director for his next movie. Anurag after meeting Amit offered him the chance to music in his next film “Dev.D”. Due to delay in Post production, his debut got delayed. Meanwhile, He was suggested to compose music for the movie “Aamir” which got released in the year 2008 making it as a debut for him.

“Dev.D” got released in the year 2009 and was appreciated much for his music. The film got many awards which include a National Award as well. Amit Trivedi is married and his wife name is Krutee Desai Trivedi.
