Deepak Dobriyal is an Indian film and theatre actor, who predominantly works in Hindi film industry. He is the recipient of a Filmfare award. His notable Hindi films are Omkara (2006), Tanu Weds Manu (2011), Dabangg 2 (2012), Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) and Hindi Medium (2017). He became the internet phenomenon for his upcoming Good Luck Jerry. The film cast includes Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role with Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, and Sushant Singh in the prominent role.

He started his acting career in the year 1994, by working with an eminent theatre group called Ashmita Theater with director Arvind Gaur. His major roles in Arvind Gaur plays are Andha Yug, Tughlaq, Final Solutions, Desire Under the Elms, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The Good Person of Szechwan, Rakt Kalyan, Court Martial, Dario Fo’s Operation Three Star, Ashok Lal’s Ek Mamooli Aadmi. After six years with Asmita theatre, he joined Act One with director Pt. N. K. Sharma. He acted in Aao Saathi Sapna Dekhen, Hamaar Baabuji ki chhattri and Aksar Maine Socha Hai.

Deepak Dobriyal made his feature film debut in 2001 with the movie Maqbool followed by many successful Bollywood films like Delhi-6 (2009), Gulaal (2009), Tanu Weds Manu (2011), Dabangg 2 (2012), Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). He has been appreciated and well accepted for his roles in these movies
