Bejoy Nambiar is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his work in Bollywood. His short films, Rahu and Reflections, starring Mohanlal has received good reviews from a number of critics. He won the Sony PIX’ s Gateway award to Hollywood, as the best director judged by Ashok Amritraj, Anurag Basu and Rajat Kapoor. He marked his feature film debut with the thriller Shaitan in 2011. His latest Bollywood film was Wazir in 2016, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. Bejoy Nambiar Profile and Career

Bejoy Nambiar was born on 12 April 1979 in Kannur, Kerala, India. He was married to Juhi Babbar on 27 June 2007 after a two-year affair; the couple divorced in January 2009. He then married Sheetal Menon who was his long-time girlfriend, he joins the hands together on 27 December 2015 in a traditional Malayali wedding style in Kerala.

He made his directing debut in short films, Rahu and Reflections, starring Mohanlal which have received good reviews from a number of critics. The best directors Ashok Amritraj, Anurag Basu and Rajat Kapoor awarded him as the  Sony PIX’ s Gateway to Hollywood.

In 2011, he marked his feature film debut with the thriller Shaitan and his second feature film was a bilingual gangster-comedy film starring Vikram and Jeeva titled David.

His latest Bollywood film was Wazir in 2016, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. He has also directed a short video ‘Sachinocalypse’ for All India Bakchod. In 2013, Bejoy Nambiyar was one of the jury members for India Film Project in 2013.

In 2017, he wrote and directed a bilingual anthology film Solo starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. He wrote the story of four different people, each story revolving around four different elements such as Earth, Fire, Wind and Water, each with the different facets of Lord Shiva.
