Mohit Raina is an Indian television actor, who predominantly appears in Hindi television Industry. He made his debut in Hindi television serial Meher in the year 2005. Then he is also featured in a lead role as Hindu god Shiva in a TV serial Devon Ke Dev as Mahadev in the year 2013. Now he is currently working on the serial 21 Sarfarosh – Saragarhi 1897 in this serial he appeared in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh. Mohit Raina Details

Mohit Raina was born on 14 August 1982, in Jammu, India. Mohit Raina family is now residing in Kashmir, India, his father name is P.L. Raina and his mother name is Sushma Kumara. He did his schooling in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jammu and he did his graduation in Commerce at Jammu University, Jammu, India. Once before he entered into the film industry he started his career as a model, with that, he hoped that it will be a rout for him to enter into the acting career for that he reduced 29 kg. He also participated in the 2005 Grasim Mister India modelling contest, where he is one of the top five contestants. In the year 2006, he started his acting career from the science fiction TV show named Antariksh.

Then in the year 2008, he featured in a comedy movie Don Muthu Swami as JaiKishan, which was not successfully reached the box office and he returns back to the television work. At that time he appeared in a television series Chehra which is a suspense drama that happens around a handicapped girl. Then in the year 2011, he appeared in a lead role for the serial Devon Ke Dev as Mahadev which is directed by Nikhil Sinha. For this serial, he improved his physique and started learning Indian classical dance form Kathak. In this serial, he played nearly 30 different roles. After the serial Devon Ke Dev, he starred as the adult emperor Ashoka, in a historical serial Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which is telecasted on Colors TV. Currently, he is working on the serial 21 Sarfarosh – Saragarhi 1897. For his acting he grabbed two awards they are Indian Telly Awards Best Actor In A Lead Role (Jury) (2013) and Star Guild Awards 2015 Best Actor In A Lead Role (2015) for the serial Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev.
