After Indian 2, Shankar to Direct Vijay and Prabhas

Ace director Shankar is presently shooting Indian 2, produced by Lyca Productions and it stars Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet in the lead role. Now, it is speculated that Shankar is planning to make two films with actor Vijay (Thalapathy 65) and another film with Rebel star Prabhas. Shankar earlier approached Hrithik Roshan for a superhero film. But they couldn’t team up for reasons unknown.

Shankar and Vijay have previously worked together in 2012’s Nanban, which was a remake of blockbuster Hindi movie 3 Idiots. Now, it looks like the two icons are finally coming together for a film. However, the official statement about the new development is yet to be made.
