Kalazhagar is blooming singer from a small village in Tamil Nadu who participated as a contestant in a television music reality show Super Singer Junior 7. The show gets telecasted on people’s most favourite TV channel Star Vijay on Saturday and Sunday from 8 PM to 9 PM every week. The hosts of this show are Priyanka Deshpande and Ma Ka Pa Anand. The judges of this show are Shankar Mahadevan, KS Chitra, Kalpana Raghavendra and Nakul Jaidev.

In the introduction round of this show, he has sung a song Kattikira song from the movie Kakki Sattai along with Dharshana & Hosour V Ramana. His performance in the intro round was appreciated by the legendary judges.
