Meanwhile, Actor Vijay decided to skip his 44th birthday celebrations in order to show solidarity to the victims who lost their lives during the Thoothukudi police firing against Sterlite protesters. This sweet gesture by Kollywood superstar is already winning the hearts on social media. Earlier, Thalapathy Vijay made headlines after visiting the families of the victim personally at midnight. He offered his condolences and also gave Rs 1 lakh to each of the victims’ family. The pictures of Vijay along with the victim’s family members went viral on the internet.

Actor Vijay is currently shooting for his much-awaited film ‘Thalapathy 62’, which is written and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is a political thriller featuring Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Pala Karupaiah, Radha Ravi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu in important roles, the yet-untitled film is likely to release by the end of this year. AR Rahman is the music director of Vijay’s film, produced by Sun Pictures.
