Kolamaavu Kokila is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The name of the film is also referred as “CoCo.” The movie stars Actress Nayanthara in the lead role along with Saranya Ponvannan, Aranthangi Nisha, Yogi Babu and Jacqueline (Vijay TV anchor) in supporting characters. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for this film, and Sivakumar Vijayan handles cinematography works. Nirmal handles the editing work for this movie, and Allirajah Subaskaran produces the Kolamaavu Kokila Movie under Lyca Productions banner. Kolamaavu Kokila Review

Kolamaavu Kokila film is about an ordinary girl in a bizarre situation, but all the while it remains a story that’s believable because the characters and the situations are clearly constructed. Kokila (Nayanthara) is the eldest daughter of the family with a caring mother (Saranya Ponvannan) who has lung cancer, a dad (RS Shivaji) who is a security guard, and a college-going sister (Jacqueline). Knowing her financial problems and need for money, opportunists try to utilise the Kokila. Director Nelson Dilipkumar has given the first half of the film with hit songs, comedy and establishment of characters with an amazing interval block. In the second half, there is some absence of humour and a key twist comes off unconvincing.
