Boat Tamil Movie (2024): Cast, Story, OTT, Trailer, Release Date

Boat is the latest Tamil survival thriller drama directed by Chimbudevan. The film stars Yogi Babu in the lead role, with Gouri G Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, and Chinni Jayanth playing crucial roles. Prabhu Premkumar and C Kalaivani produced this film under Maali and Maanavi movie makers in collaboration with Chimbudevan Entertainment. Ghibran composed the songs and background scores.

Undoubtedly, Yogi Babu is at the peak of his career and can be seen in every film in Kollywood. On December 16, 2023, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the teaser for the Boat movie. Saregama India Limited and A RPSG Group company bagged the musical rights for the film.

Story of Boat Tamil Movie

Based on the teaser, the film is set in the backdrop of the sea, and it happens in the time period before India’s Independence. It is the story of a group of people trying to escape from dangerous places through a boat.

Release Date

The release date has not yet been announced. However, this film might be released in the first half of 2024.

The makers are yet to announce the OTT platform and its release date. But as per sources, Disney+ Hotstar might acquire the streaming rights. It’ll take a month from the theatrical release for the film to stream online.
