IAF Strikes in Balakot: Pakistan Army uses Tanks in Sialkot Sector | Situation Tense
After the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted the surgical strike on Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps in Balakot across the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan army resorted to ceasefire violation in Sialkot sector, Punjab. Ceasefire violations in the sector resulted in 10 army jawans being injured and two residential houses damaged. They started firing on the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu districts triggering a gunfight as Indian Army retaliated.

According to reports, Pakistan Army used tanks on LoC and the international border. Pakistan army also suffered damages by the response from the Indian army. The extent of the damage suffered by Pakistan is being assessed.
At least 37 jawaans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in a major terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on February 14. Pakistan-based terrorist gang Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the attack.
