Vichithra is a former Indian actress who mainly works in the Kollywood film industry. She appeared in a few Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films as well. She made her acting debut with the Tamil movie Porkkodi as Shenba. In 1992, she made her debut Malayalam movie with Ezhamedam. Vichithra became famous for her role as Madippu Hamsa in the Thalaivasal movie. Vichithra was also seen in Vijay TV’s popular cooking reality show Cooku With Comali Season 4. She is one of the contestants in the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7, hosted by Kamal Haasan.

• Vichithra is the daughter of actor Williams.
• In September 2011, two hooded robbers entered Vichithra’s farmhouse in Chennai, where her parents lived. In an attempt to snatch her mother’s chain, the robbers killed her father and injured her mother heavily.
