Thandel is a Telugu action drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the vital roles. Bunny Vas funded the film under Geetha Arts production house. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad tuned the music and background score. Further, it is Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s second collaboration after the Love Story movie (2021).

Thandel is the 23rd film of Naga Chaitanya, and it is one of the most expensive films in his career, with around 70 crores as the total budget. Chaitanya has undergone a massive transformation as a fisherman, both physically and mentally. Also, the film’s story is based on real-life incidents that happened in Gujarat in 2018.

Release Date

The production crew has not revealed the movie’s release date. But it is expected to be released in the year 2024.

Storyline

The tagline in the poster says, “The One Who Anchors His Crew, His Love, and His People And Won’t Care To Sacrifice His Life.’ Based on this information, the film might be about a fisherman who has the will to cross any line for his people. His life story might be the main crux of the film.
