Tamil Nadu Government Holidays 2024 List: Date & Day
The government of Tamil Nadu has announced the list of public holidays for the year 2024. There are 24 holidays, including 17 gazetted holidays and 7 restricted or optional holidays. Due to the cultural and regional diversities, each state will have different religious celebrations. So, the Indian gazetted holidays will not include the optional holidays in their list. Also, there are 3 national holidays, namely, Indian Republic Day (26 January), Independence Day (15 August), and Gandhi Jayanthi (2 October).
