Sneha Khanwalkar Early Life and Career
Sneha Khanwalkar was born on 28 April 1983 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Sneha Khanwalkar family and education details will be updated soon. Her mother’s family was surrounded with the Gwalior Gharana of Hindustani classical music, where she learned music during her childhood. Sneha Khanwalkar started her music career in 2004, with the Hindi short film “The Hope,” which ended at the Internationales Filmfest Emden in Germany.
After a long break, Sneha Khanwalkar composed music for the movie “Go,” in 2007 and also got an opportunity to compose songs for the movie “Sarkar Raj,” in 2008. For her score in the movie “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!,” she received critical acclaim. Moreover, she was the music director of Anurag Kashyap’s movie “Gangs of Wasseypur (Part 1 & Part 2).” For her work in that movie, she was nominated as the Best Music Director category at the 58th Filmfare Awards. In 2018, she worked for the movie “Manto,” directed by Nandita Das. Sneha Khanwalkar appeared as a host of a popular music based serial titled “Sound Trippin,” on MTV.
