Vedala Hemachandra is an Indian playback singer and music director, who predominantly works in Telugu film industry. He made his debut song Chalo Dildar Chalo for the movie Dil Diya Hai and the song was composed by Himesh Reshammiya. He recently worked for the song Welcome back to Love for the movie Malli Raava and the song was composed by Shravan Bharadwaj. Once before he enters into the music industry he participated in the music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 and grab the 2nd runner-up. He started his singing career in movies in the year 2006, for the movie Dil Diya Hai which is a Hindi movie. Then he sang his first Telugu song Niluvave for the movie Lakshyam and the song was composed by Mani Sharma in the year 2007. Now he is performing on a TV show called Super Singer 9 in that he is on the Challengers team alongside Harini and their team leader is Kalpana. Moreover, he has worked as a music director in Telugu movies like Ride, Maa Nanna Chiranjeevi, and All the Best. He was also won the Filmfare award 2018 for best singer for the song Vedala Hemachandra’s Oosupodu.
