Shoojit Sircar Early Life & Career

Shoojit Sircar was born in Barrackpore, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, in a Bengali Hindu family. Shoojit Sircar family details will be updated soon. He did his schooling in Kendriya Vidyalaya Barrackpore Airforce school in the year 1985 and he did his graduation in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, the University of Delhi. He started his direction career in the year 2005 from the movie Yahaan and by following the success of this movie he directed many movies in the following year Vicky Donor in 2012, Madras Cafe in 2013 and Piku in 2015. Then at the time of directing movies in between, he produced a move in the year 2012 named Aparajita Tumi. Moreover, he has won the National Award for the movie Vicky Donor in the category of Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, which is shared with John Abraham. Now he bit busy in making a documentary on Amitabh Bachchan.
