OG, also branded as They Call Him OG, is an action thriller film helmed by Sujeeth. DVV Danayya bankrolled this flick under his home banner, DDV Entertainment Productions. Pawan Kalyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Emraan Hashmi play the lead role, with Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Harish Uthaman in supporting roles.

The shooting for the OG movie commenced in April 2023, and it wrapped up in early 2024. Emraan Hashmi marks his Telugu debut with the They Call Him OG film. According to sources, the story will revolve around the mafia in Mumbai. The makers announced the film’s release date with a poster showing Pawan Kalyan standing beside his vintage car near a seashore, holding a glass of chai.

Storyline

They Call Him OG revolves around a ruthless gangster named Ojas Gambheera who went on a personal mission to assassinate all crime bosses. He returned to Mumbai after 10 years of his journey. How he will be seen as a crusader or a dangerous gangster is the main crux of this film.

The OTT platform and release date for the film are yet to be finalized by the makers. As per reports, Disney+ Hotstar is trying to buy the streaming rights for the OG film with a huge sum.
