Maayavalai is the latest action crime drama helmed by Ramesh Krishnan. The film casts Ameer Sultan and Sanchita Shetty as the protagonists, with Sathya, Saran, Vincent Ashokan, and others in major roles. Ameer Sultan and Vetrimaaran bankrolled the movie under the home banners of Grassroot Film Company and Ameer Film Corporation. Yuvan Shankar Raja tuned the music and background scores while Snekan penned the lyrics.

Maayavalai movie teaser was unveiled on December 9, 2023, on YouTube. Within an hour, the film received thousands of likes and views. The clip shows Ameer getting engaged to the love of his life. Some tragic events changed his life completely upside down.

Storyline

The movie’s story revolves around a guy who gets engaged to a beautiful woman. Some guys trapped him and set him up in a murder case. How he escapes from the trap and proves his innocence to everyone in his life is the main crux.
