Jim Sarbh is an Indian film and Stage actor. Best known for his supporting work in the Hindi Film Industry, he is the recipient of the Screen Award, International Indian Film Academy Award and a nomination for the Filmfare Award. He also directed and acted in numerous theatre productions in India. Sarbh made his feature film debut in Neerja (2016), which was a critically and commercially successful biographical drama. He played the antagonist in that movie, which garnered him positive reviews from critics and such accolades as the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor nomination and a Screen Award. Jim Sarbh Profile And Career

Jim Sarbh was born on 27 August 1987, in Mumbai, to a Parsi family. Sarbh’s mother is a retired Physiotherapist, and his father is a former master mariner, and a Regional Director of P&O Ports South and Middle East Asia. His family moved to Austraila when Sarbh was three years old and came back to Mumbai when he was eight, where he studied in the American School of Bombay. He Completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Emory University, United States of America. Sarbh currently lives in Versova, Mumbai.

After his graduation, Sarbh worked in the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta for a year as a literary intern. He performed around Atlanta in the 2009 productions of such plays as The Show! Tennis in Nablus, The Breakup, and Ice Glen, the last of the roles won him a Major Supporting Role in Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Award. He then continued to act in the Mumbai based plays including Glass Menagerie, What’s Done is Done, The Merchant of Venice, and Living Room. Sarbh made his feature film debut in Neerja (2016)
