Gaurav Solanki Details

Gaurav Solanki was born on 21 January 1997 in Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Haryana, India. His father name is Vijay Pal Singh who is an electrician and has an electric shop and his mother details will be updated soon. He has a young brother Saurav who is a talented boxer and trains at a local boxing academy under 46-49 kg category and has an elder sister named Neelam who was a national level boxing champion from 2013 to 2015. His schooling and graduation details will be updated soon. In his school days in order to have fun, he joined in the training and after understanding everything boxing became his profession.

In his initial days, his family is under big financial crisis and he showed his boxing spark to his family by understanding it his father sold his 50-yard land to financially support Gaurav’s boxing career then he pursued his career in boxing. Then in the year 2018, he participated in Commonwealth Games that held at Gold Coast, Australia. On April 9, 2018, he beats Ghana’s Empiyar Akimos Annang Ampiah by scoring 4-0 in the last 16 rounds. Then on April 11, 2018, he defeats Papua New Guinea’s Charles Keama by the score of 5-0 in the quarter-finals. On 14th April he beats reland’s Brendan Irvine by scoring 4-1 in finals. In the 2018 Commonwealth Games, he won the Gold medal for India in Flyweight 52 kg category of the male boxing event.
