Cyrus Broacha is an Indian TV anchor, comedian, political satirist, theatre personality, author, podcaster and columnist, who works in Bollywood film and television industry. He is well known for his show Bakar on MTV and for the show The Week That Wasn’t on CNN News18. He made his debut movie Jalwa, with that, he gave a voice for the cartoon film Ramayana as Angada. Cyrus Broacha Details

Cyrus Broacha was born on 7 August 1971 in  Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Cyrus Broacha family details will be updated soon. He did his schooling in Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai and he did his graduation in St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. He started acting at the age of five from his school play titled The Emperor’s New Clothes. Each and every year he used to perform in the school shows, with that, he has written many for the school magazine and also won prizes for English drama. Cyrus Broacha wife name is Ayesha who is a photographer they both got married on 3 January 2001. This couple was blessed with two children son named Mikhaail and a daughter named Maya.

At the age of 12, he made his debut Hindi movie, Jalwa along with Pankaj Parashar and Naseeruddin Shah. Then on the next year, he did his first professional play titled Brighton Beach Memoirs, under Pearl Padamsee. During his college days, he came into the limelight on Malhar festival and he also in FM radio that took off in India where he gained a reputation as a radio jockey.  Once after his graduation, he went to Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City he studied acting for theatre. After he gets back to India he appeared in various commercials, television serials and plays. Where he hosted some of the shows and corporate events, at the time when he pursuing his passion for theatre he appeared nearly in  20 commercial theatre productions.
