Aarattu is the upcoming Malayalam movie starring Mohanlal and Shraddha Srinath in the lead characters. Directed by B Unnikrishnan, the story of the film was penned by Udayakrishna. According to reports, the film’s title is Neyyattinkara Gopante Aarattu aka Aaraattu.

The film revolves around Mohanlal’s rustic character from his hometown to a village in Palakkad. He will be seen driving a vintage black Mercedez Benz with “2255” on the number plate. It is an iconic reference to the actor from his blockbuster movie Rajavinte Makan.

Aarattu movie also stars Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Indrans, Johny Antony, Vijayaraghavan, Rachana Narayanankutty, Sheela, and Swasika among others. Rahul Raj composes the music for the film.
