Mohan Raja is back with the sequel of Thani Oruvan 2, starring Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in the lead role. The film’s first part, released in August 2015, is one of the huge blockbusters for Jayam Ravi and Mohan Raja. After eight years, the duo has returned with an interesting announcement promo for the sequel. Thani Oruvan 2 shooting is scheduled to begin in early 2024. The announcement video begins with Mohan Raja changing the popular saying in the movie “உன் எதிரி யார் என்று சொல் நீ யார் என்று சொல்கிறேன்” to “நீ யார் என்று சொல் உன் எதிரி யார் என்று சொல்கிறேன்”.

This time, Hip Hop Tamizha was replaced by Sam CS, who will compose the songs and background scores.

Release Date

Based on the information given by the makers, the film will be released at the end of 2024.

Storyline

The film will be similar to the Thani Oruvan movie. A sincere cop fixes his eyes on an evil mastermind. With all his powers, he tries to take down the villain. The scenarios between them will be the main crux of the film.
