Priya is a football player from Chennai. She passed away on 15th November 2022 at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai. The incident happened after her leg was amputated by the Doctor who serves at Kolathur Periya Nagar Hospital on November 7.

Following this, Health Minister Ma Subramanian has suspended two doctors from the sector. Chief Minister MK Stalin has also announced a compensation of Rupees 10 lakh for the family and a government job to one of her family members.

Footballer Priya pursuing higher studies at Queen Mary’s College, Chennai. She is a first-year student in the physical education department.
