Mangalavaaram Movie (2023) – Cast, Trailer, OTT, Songs, Release Date

Mangalavaaram is the much-anticipated film starring ravishing actress Payal Rajput in the lead role. It is directed by Ajay Bhupathi. The duo joined hands once again after the blockbuster of RX100. Nanditha Swetha along with Divya Pillai, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, and Krishna Chaitanya played supporting roles. Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M produced the film under the Mudhra Media Works banner. Ajay made his debut as a producer in the film. Kantara fame Ajaneesh Loknath scores the sounds and music while Bhaskarabhatla and Chaitanya Prasad penned the lyrics. The film is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

In the poster, we can see Payal standing with watery eyes with a butterfly on her finger. It simply implies that the film might be a thriller drama. The makers say Mangalavaaram is a village-based story with a backdrop in the 90s. It is also said the film is being made on a very low budget. As per sources, Meeku Maathrame Cheptha movie director Shammeer Sultan is to play a small role, but due to some reasons, the character has been dropped.

Storyline

The story revolves around a remote village where people believe in the haunting of angry spirits. The villager’s life took a u-turn following the series of deaths. How they manage to escape from the angry spirits is the main crux.

Release Date

The Mangalavaaram movie is going to release on 17 November 2023.
