Maareesan is an upcoming thriller drama directed by Sudheesh Sankar. Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil are again joining hands after their successful combo in the political thriller Maamannan. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the songs and background scores. RB Choudhary produced this film under his home banner, Super Good Films.

The film’s title was launched along with the tagline, “The hunt begins today,” implying that the shooting begins today (22 January 2024). Maareesan marks the 98th film for this production house. As the director and actor are both from the Mollywood industry, it is expected that the film will be dubbed in Malayalam as well.

Release Date

As the film was shooting began in January, we can expect the film to hit the screen in late 2024.

Storyline
