In a recent update, WhatsApp rolled out a new feature, “Poll“. By using this, you can ask a question or know the opinions of your favorite ones. WhatsApp poll is trending among friends and groups. Here we provide some simple steps to create a poll on the WhatsApp chat.

How To Create WhatsApp Poll

Follow the below steps to create a WhatsApp Poll on your phone

Step 1: Ensure your WhatsApp is in the latest version, 2.22.21.16 (for android) or above

Step 2: Go to WhatsApp on your device (Available for Android and iOS).

Step 3: Click the chat of your contact or any group that you want to poll.

Step 4: Tap on the attachment and choose the Poll icon.

Step 5: That takes you to Create Poll Screen.

Step 6: Enter a question that you want to ask.

Step 7: Now enter the poll option by clicking the Add button, you can also drag the option based on your preference using the hamburger menu.

Step 8: Finally, Click the send option to create the poll.

Note: You can add up to 12 options, and it can’t be edited once it is sent.

To Respond WhatsApp Poll

Step 1: Choose the option you want to select.

Step 2: You can change the option or tap to remove.

After getting poll answers, the creator can view the total number of votes registered on the options.
