Stickers on WhatsApp Finally | What’s New and How to Enable it?
After introducing emojis and camera features, Status and animated GIFs, WhatsApp is following its parent Facebook’s footsteps with the introduction of Stickers feature. The new feature has been started to roll out on iOS devices and Android devices (only on Whatsapp Beta Version) with the few sticker packs. To send stickers, users have to tap the sticker button and choose the sticker they want to share. Users can also download new sticker packs by tapping on the plus icon.
Moreover, the popular communication media has added the support for third-party sticker packs, hence designers and developers around the world can also create stickers for the Whatsapp. To allow them to do so, WhatsApp has “included a set of APIs and interfaces” which will help them “create sticker apps that add stickers to WhatsApp on both Android or iOS.”
Just follow these Simple Steps to Enable WhatsApp Stickers on Your Phone:
Step 1: First of all, you need to update your app to the latest version (Android – 2.18.329 version; iPhone – 2.18.100).
Step 2: Android users must join the beta testing program to receive the new updates of WhatsApp on their phone.
Step 3: Open the app and select any chat or group where you want to share.
Step 4: Then tap the emoji icon that is available on your chat screen.
Step 5: Then tap the new Stickers option right next to the GIF option.
Step 6: To add new sticker packs, tap the plus icon.
Step 7: Then tap the download icon next to the sticker pack that you want to download. Once the download is complete, a green check mark will appear.
Step 8: Then you can send the sticker that you want to share.
