Ashok Selvan Details

Ashok Selvan was born on 8 November 1989, in Erode (chennimalai), Tamil Nadu, India. Ashok Selvan family is now residing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India other family details will be updated soon. He did his schooling in Santhome Higher Secondary School, Chennai and he did his graduation in Visual Communications at Loyola College of Arts and Science, Chennai. At the time of his college, he used to participate in more short films, with that, he completed a dozen short films as an actor as well as directing a few including the movie Green, which is the movie has won the Best Film at the 2012 International Tamil Thoth Conference that held on Singapore.

During his college days, he got an opportunity to attend the audition for the roles in the movie Inidhu Inidhu which is the Prakash Raj’s production and also in Bharat Bala’s 19th Step but he was rejected. Then he worked as an assistant director to the director S. J. Surya and he got an opportunity to appear in the movie Billa II in this movie he appeared in the role as childhood Billa. After this movie, he appeared in the movie Soodhu Kavvum in this movie he appeared along with Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha and Sanchita Shetty, and it is a commercial hit movie. Ashok Selvan was selected for the psychological thriller movie Pizza II: Villa which is directed by Deepan Chakravarthy and it is the second film of C. V. Kumar. Moreover, he got a critical acclaim from the movie Thegidi, Kootathil Oruthan and more.
