WhatsApp ‘Delete for Everyone’ Feature: Here comes a great news for millions of WhatsApp users across the country, the Facebook-owned popular instant messenger app starts rolling out a feature that will let users delete an unseen sent messages. The feature is called as ‘Delete for Everyone’.
WABetaInfo reported that the feature would let people recall sent messages within seven minutes of sending them. WhatsApp was earlier said to be testing the feature and was supposed to enable it remotely. Now the feature functions for a small group of users.

Not only for Text messages, WhatsApp’s ‘delete for everyone’ feature also works for photos, videos, GIFS, contact cards, etc as well. But the feature does not work for quoted messages or broadcast messages.
The report notes that feature will work only for the users who have the latest version of WhatsApp app. Using the ‘delete for everyone’, people can revoke messages in the group and also in individual chats. But it can be recalled only messages that have not been read by the receiver.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is working on the ability to edit sent messages as well. According to the site, the WhatsApp’s ‘delete for everyone’ feature is currently is under development, and it was disabled by default. Users may receive the activation message anytime soon but in case you don’t then uninstall and reinstall the app.
