Amoli Short Film – Tamil Child Tracking “A Must Watch” Narrated by Mr. Kamal Haasan
Amoli is a documentary short film directed by Jasmine Kaur and Avinash Roy. The Amoli Short Film features the process which converts young girls into sexual consignments. The movie sketches a deeply unsettling about sex trafficking in India. It was produced by Culture Machine, and the 30-minute documentary short film travels to villages, cities, homes, public spaces, and schools to trace the journey of the young girls who are abducted for prostitution. The title “Amoli” refers to a girl from Siliguri who went missing. The movie has been released on Culture Machine’s Youtube channel in seven different languages. Kamal Haasan has narrated the Tamil version of Amoli and the other versions have been narrated by Rajkummar Rao (Hindi), Puneeth Rajkumar (Kannada), Vidya Balan (English), Nani (Telugu), and Jisshu Sengupta (Bengali).
