Japan is a Pan India movie directed by Raju Murugan. The film casts Karthi, Anu Emmanuel are the protagonists with Jithin Ramesh, KS Ravikumar, Sunil, Vijay Milton, and Vagai Chandrasekhar playing supporting roles. SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu bankrolled under the Dream Warrior Pictures production house. GV Prakash Kumar scored the songs and background music while Yugabharathi penned the lyrics. It is the 25th film for Karthi.

Ravi Varman was roped in as the director of photography, and Philominraj handled the editing. Karthi in & as Japan will screen in theaters on November 10, 2023. The new trailer was unveiled on 28 October, the video shows the background of a thief named Japan (Karthi) and he has over 184 cases filed on him.

After the first single Touching Touching, the second single received huge expectations. Sottangalla song was released on YouTube on November 1, 2023, within an hour the song received half a million views and thousands of likes.

Storyline

Japan is a notorious thief who steals Rs. 200 crores worth of Jewels at jewelry during a murder. Following the incident police filed a murder and robbery case in Japan. The chase between him and the police is the main crux.
