Soujanya is an Indian actress. She got fame through her performance in Kannada movies. She also worked in a few Kannada TV serials. Unfortunately, she committed suicide on Sep 30, 2021, like V. J. Chitra. She was found dead in her home which is in Kumbalgodu, Bengaluru. A death note was also found in her room. Some of her close friends revealed that she had been facing issues in the television industry. Many Kannada entertainment industry celebrities have conveyed their condolences to her parents. She was just 25 years old when she hung herself to death.

• Four page notes: Before death, she gave a clarification about her death in a four page note. She mentioned that she did not accuse anybody for her death. Soujanya also includes that she apologizes to her family members for this decision and thanked to the people who supports her.
• Police complaint: On 1st October 2021, Soujanya’s father field a Police complaint against her friend Vivek. He suspects Vivek is the culprit for her death.
