Ravi Basrur is an Indian music composer, film director, lyricist, and playback singer. He rose to fame through his outlasting background scores in K.G.F. He made his debut in the Kannada film Ugramm (2014) directed by Prashanth Neel. As a result, he won the Zee Music Award and the KIMA International Award for the Best Background Score. Later, he composed for films like Ekka Saka (2015), Just Maduveli (2015), Karvva (2016), K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018), and K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022). Ravi Basrur resurrected himself as a director for the movies such as Gargar Mandala (2014), and Bilinder (2016).
Ravi Basrur is a lifeline for the recent blockbuster K.G.F: Chapter 2. This movie is heart-filled with power-packed background scores and Rocky Bhai Yash’s screen presence. Ravi Basrur is now committed to Prabhas’ most-anticipated film Salaar making his fans overjoyed. In addition, he also composes for Kabza starring Upendra and Kichcha Sudeepa.
