Ranjini Haridas is an Indian Television Actress, Television Presenter, Model, Singer and Radio Jockey who works predominantly in Malayalam films and Television industry. She came to limelight after winning the Miss Kerala crown in the year 2000. She is one of the most popular anchors of Malayalam television shows. She was highly criticised for her poor Malayalam accent. She made her acting debut as a child artist in 1986 film Geetham. Ranjini Haridas was born on 23 April 1980 in Kochi, Kerala, India. She did her schooling at The Choice School, Cochin, Kerala and completed her graduation in Literature and Master Business Administration (MBA) from St. Therasa’s College, Kochi, Kerala. After graduation, she started her career in compering. She had hosted several stage shows such as Asianet Film Awards, Flowers TV awards, Jaihind Film Awards, Amrita TV Film Awards, Asiavision Awards, SIIMA, etc. She also very interested in modelling and she was crowned Miss Kerala at Femina Miss Kerala 2000.

Her first recognized film appearance was for a cameo role in China Town and Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty (2013). Apart from being a television host, she also performs and writes poems too. She garnered huge publicity when the legendary Argentine Footballer Diego Maradona came to Alappuzha to inaugurate Chemmanur Jewelers. Ranjini Haridas was the host of the event and invited the footballer to shake a leg with her. While dancing at the event, she kissed him, and it created a lot of controversies.
