Prasanth Varma is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly worked in the Telugu entertainment industry. He grabbed the public eye for his movies like Awe, Zombie Reddy, and more. He was born in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh and he has a sister named Sneha Sameera. Prasanth completed his bachelor’s degree at CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad. Varma initially started his career as a short film director and did his directional debut in Deenamma Jeevitham.

In 2015, He directed a mini web series titled Not Out which premiered on YuppTV. Prasanth made his debut silver screen movie in 2018 Awe which is produced by Natural Star Nani. Notably, his debut movie was That is Mahalakshmi but due to some issues the movie release date was postponed several times. His recent work to hit the audience is Adhira a first Telugu superhero movie, starring debutant Kalyan Dasari in the lead role. The movie is produced by DVV Danayya. Besides Adhira, Hanu Man is Prasanth’s second superhero movie.
