Neeru Deshpande is the chairperson of the popular tech company Infosys. She rose to fame after rumors of her being the child in the Parle-G biscuit cover went viral. India Today Anti-Fake News War Room (AFWA) opposed that allegation and reported that the kid featured on the Parle-G cover is just a graphic image, not Neeru.
Also, the Parle group product manager, Mayank Shah, put a rest to the rumors by stating that the kid is just an illustration made in the 1960s by a company called Everest Creative.
