ICC ODI Rankings: Rohit Sharma Jumps to 2nd Spot, Rashid Becomes Top-Ranked All-Rounder
After the success of Asia Cup 2018, Indian batsmen’s Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have made important gains in the latest ODI rankings, while Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan has displaced Shakib Al Hasan from the top of the all-rounders’ list. Rohit Sharma, who led the Indian team in the absence of NB has jumped up two places to a career-best second position to make it a 1-2 for India in the ICC ODI Batsmen rankings. India’s regular captain Virat Kohli continues to be the top-ranked ODI batsman with 884 points while Rohit Sharma was second with 842 points. Shikhar Dhawan, the highest run-getter in 2018 Asia Cup gained four slots to reach the fifth position.

Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan has displaced former Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan to become the top-ranked all-rounder in ODIs. Apart from Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav gained three places to reach his career-best third place with Jasprit Bumrah remains at the top of the ODI rankings for bowlers.
