Besant Ravi is a well-experienced actor and stunt master. He is well known for the villain roles in Kollywood movies. Ravi began his career as an ordinary bike mechanic in Besant Nagar but due to keen interest in cinema, he tried his luck in the Kollywood project.

Karthik starring Lucky Man (1995) is the debut film for him. Along with Tamil films, he also acted in few Hindi and Malayalam movies. In 2021, Ravi first time appeared as a contestant in the reality television show Survivor. He did a guest role in Cook With Comali season 1.
