K.K.Shailaja is an Indian politician from the Kannur district of Kerala. She is popularly known as Shailaja Teacher. KK Shailaja is a retired teacher. She was lauded for her stellar work as a health minister during the first wave of coronavirus. She also worked on the containment of Nipah virus in the state of Kerala during 2018 and 2019. Now, Shailaja didn’t list in the cabinet ministers instead she has been chosen as CPI(M) party’s whip in the assembly. The new LDF government didn’t retain any ministers from the previous government.
