Singampuli is an Indian actor, dialogue writer, and director who mostly works in the Tamil film industry. He made his acting debut with Naan Kadavul movie by playing the role of Kuyyan. His directorial debut movie is Red. He appeared in supporting roles in many films, including Kalakalappu 2, Merlin, Pakka, Genius, Psycho, Don, Viruman, and Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam movie. He played a prominent role in Pugazh’s Mr Zoo Keeper movie.

Interesting Facts

• Once he graduated, he arrived in Chennai and looked for a career in film.
• At the time, he worked as an assistant director with Sundar C. He is the one who suggested the original plot point of Unnaithedi. Then, in a week, Sundar C wrote the script and went through a discussion with Ajith Kumar, initially he was not impressed by the story, but he agreed to do the romantic story.
• Later, he directed the movie Red, but it was not successful.
• He worked as a dialog writer for the movies Kannan Varuvaan, Perazhagan, and Renigunta. Then, in the year 2009, Director Bala cast him in an acting role as a beggar in the movie Naan Kadavul. From that movie, he started appearing in supporting roles in several films.
