Yatra 2 Movie (2024): Cast, Trailer, OTT, Songs, Release Date

Yatra 2 is the latest Telugu biopic drama directed by Mahi V Raghav. Mollywood superstar Mammootty and Kollywood actor Jiiva are the protagonists, with Rajiv Kumar Aneja playing a supporting role. Shiv Meka and Mahi V Raghav bankrolled this flick under the Three Autumn Leaves and V Celluloid productions house. Santhosh Narayanan has scored the songs and background music.

The film is a sequel to the 2019 Yatra movie. It is a biopic of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Yatra 2 tells the story of how Jagan Mohan Reddy became the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The creators unveiled a new movie poster on December 21, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan’s birthday.

Review

Jiiva showed his ultimate performance in the movie. Jiiva nailed his role as YS Jagan, and even though Mammootty’s role is short-lived in the film, he attracted the audience in a very short screen time. Overall, Yatra 2 is an amazing biopic with several twist plots.

The makers have finally decided on the release date for this biopic. Yatra 2 will be screening in theaters starting today (8 February 2024).

OTT

The makers are yet to announce the movie’s OTT release date and platform. As per sources, Disney+ Hotstar might acquire the streaming rights. It may take a month or so for the film to stream online.
