Vetri’s debut film, 8 Thottakkal, gave him a huge fan base. His work in the Kannagi movie received positive reviews from the audience and critics. He also signed up to play the lead role in the psychological thriller movie Eerapadham Kaatru Mazhai, starring alongside Deepthie Orintelu in the female lead role.
